Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Travelodge Golden. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Policies

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of the hotel, including staff management, customer service, and financial management.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and achieve our business objectives.

Customer Service

Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.

Financial Management

Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make recommendations to improve financial performance.

Marketing and Sales

Develop and implement marketing plans to attract new customers and increase revenue, including negotiating with suppliers and clients.

Maintenance and Facilities

Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel, including arranging for repairs and maintenance, and ensuring that all facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure that the hotel complies with all relevant laws and regulations, and identify and mitigate any risks to the business.

Support for Diverse Groups
  • Mentorship and Coaching

Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities to support the development of staff from diverse backgrounds, including persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
