Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Travelodge Golden. As an Assistant Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of hotel staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance
    • Monitor and control hotel expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop hotel staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to improve their performance
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all guests receive excellent customer service and that their needs are met
    • Respond to guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop and implement marketing plans to increase hotel occupancy and revenue
    • Work with the sales team to promote the hotel and attract new business
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage the hotel's budget, including forecasting and controlling expenses
    • Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in hotel operations or a related field
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
