Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Testing Lead to join our dynamic team responsible for implementing a new payroll system. In this crucial role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless integration and accuracy of the system, contributing to the efficient and reliable processing of employee compensation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive testing strategies, plans, and procedures tailored to the implementation of the payroll system.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to define testing requirements and scope based on business needs and system functionalities.
  • Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Design and execute meticulous test cases to validate the functionality and precision of the payroll system across all modules and processes.
  • Document and communicate any defects or discrepancies discovered during testing, working collaboratively with the development team to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Monitor the progress of testing activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and proactively addressing any emerging issues.
  • Conduct post-implementation testing to confirm the successful integration and performance of the payroll system within the existing infrastructure.
  • Provide technical expertise and assistance to team members and end-users during testing and issue resolution phases.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse teams to facilitate the smooth integration of the payroll system with other relevant systems and processes.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a testing lead, preferably within the payroll domain.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll processes and systems, including relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with various testing methodologies and tools, such as test automation frameworks and defect tracking systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear and concise collaboration with stakeholders.
