Accounts Payable Clerk

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Winnipeg. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for the day-to-day processing of accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner, and in accordance with our policies & procedures.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Maintain ledgers, crediting balances, and investigate account irregularities
- Obtain approval for disbursements and ensure that expenditures are correctly coded
- Process and post invoices and expenses
- Prepare and fill out payments to third parties, whether by EFT, Cheque or credit
- Audit purchase requests for materials, supplies, equipment, and other collateral
- Verify that orders are charged to the proper accounts
- Review bills to the company for potential errors and/or discrepancies
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied transactions
- Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections to corporate billing records.
- Balance daily A/P batches; prepare and distribute payment reports and statistics to key personnel.
