ABOUT THE TEAM

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned administrative professional to become part of a dynamic, supportive, and highly motivated Legal team. PSP is dedicated to recruiting outstanding individuals who will bring their expertise, talent, and enthusiasm to support our mission.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Legal Affairs, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive administrative assistance to various members of the legal team.

To excel in this position, you must possess exceptional communication skills, a high level of motivation, and self-assurance, as you will interact directly with internal business partners, external legal counsel, and stakeholders. Strong business insight, sound judgment, and practicality are essential for success in this role.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Legal Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting a team of attorneys with transactions and managing a global asset portfolio.
  • Coordinating legal matter management, including the establishment of workspaces, filing, and maintaining files.
  • Supporting the preparation of legal documents, including mark-ups and tracking revisions of contracts and correspondence.
  • Providing overall administrative and operational support for the team, which includes scheduling in-office and virtual meetings, data entry, photocopying, and more.
  • Facilitating the signing and distribution of legal documents and preparing closing binders.
  • Arranging travel and preparing expense reports.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within a business law, finance, or professional services setting.
  • A college degree (DEP or AEC) in Office Administration is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with document management software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
  • Strong skills in word processing, spelling, proofreading, and editing.
  • Good judgment, tact, diplomacy, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously, demonstrate proactivity, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid work ethic, professional integrity, and the capability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in English and French (or a willingness to learn).
