Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Home Care Specialist. As an LPN with Nurse Next Door, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care to clients, including wound care, assessments, and vital sign tracking.
  • Delegate tasks to care team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Assess client needs and develop care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with care designers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client care.
Requirements
  • Current LPN license in BC.
  • At least 2 days per week of availability, totaling 10 hours per week.
  • Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Double COVID vaccination required.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience in home care and palliative care an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency with mobile apps and G-suite.
