Nurse Next Door - Maple Ridge, BC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

About the Role

As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our clients in their homes. This will include assessing client needs, developing and implementing care plans, and providing education and support to clients and their families.

You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our care team to ensure that our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assess client needs and develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide nursing care and education to clients and their families
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Document client progress and care provided
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in home health care
Requirements
  • Current LPN or RN license in BC
  • At least 2 days per week of availability totalling 10 hours per week of availability to work
  • Class 5 Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Double COVID Vaccination required
  • First Aid with CPR certification
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
