Apparel Design Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our design team in creating innovative and high-quality products. As a Design Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the design process, from researching trends to preparing design presentations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in researching seasonal key trends, color, fabric, silhouette, and innovation that align with our brand's vision
- Support the Design Team in completing CAD illustrations and PLM BOMs accurately and on time
- Prepare and maintain design presentations and line sheets
- Attend and assist in fittings to ensure quality product and brand standards
- Help organize trims, lab dips, hand looms, strike offs, and knit downs
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Industrial Design, or a related discipline
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office is essential
- Solid comprehension of garment construction, garment specifications, and critical product construction
- Must have an eye for detail, color, and creativity combined with fashion industry insight
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to tackle multiple projects with varying scope and project teams
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
