About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Apparel Designer to join our team at Mark's. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating original and relevant designs that align with market demands and the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute design concepts for various product lines, from initial concept to final product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product meets customer needs and company goals.
- Research and identify trends, new fabrications, and techniques in graphics, printing, and dyeing methods.
- Participate in fittings and provide expert knowledge of construction, fit, and fabrications of knits and wovens.
- Utilize software such as NedGraphics to create woven patterns.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of design experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and MS Office.
- Experience in PLM.
- Strong sense of color, print, and pattern development within the brand aesthetic.
