About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic Assistant to join our team at Torque Tech Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist tradespersons and apprentices in performing maintenance and repair tasks on heavy equipment and motor vehicles.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Help with cleaning machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed to support the repair process.
Work Environment

As a Diesel Mechanic Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced urban area environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest quality of work.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads and under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
