About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Nextrux Transport Ltd. as a Heavy Truck Repair Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and inspect heavy trucks to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work to ensure the optimal performance of our fleet.
  • Verify and repair emission control systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in diesel mechanics.
  • Attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Accurate, flexible, and reliable with good judgement and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
