Job Overview:
As a Cost Accountant, you will play a vital role in collaborating with various teams to enhance data integration and ensure accurate financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Working closely with the Project Management team to facilitate project creation, monitor progress, and conduct cost forecasting.
  • Preparing monthly internal project accounting reports for large and complex projects.
  • Partnering with Production Management to guarantee accuracy in data forecasting and estimates.
  • Coordinating with the Procurement team to uphold data integrity and improve operational analytics.
  • Collaborating with the Finance team to ensure precise data is available for financial reporting.
  • Utilizing current project systems tools (such as Solidworks and Genius) to maintain and prepare project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts while reconciling actual costs against project budgets.
  • Providing in-depth data analysis to support initiatives across departments.
  • Contributing to plant inventory management, including cycle counts.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of data integration and financial reporting.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, production managers, and senior executives to meet financial goals and drive operational enhancements.

The ideal candidate is expected to be local or willing to relocate prior to employment. This position requires in-office presence.
