Position Overview

The Financial Operations Specialist plays an essential role within the Finance team at Athletics & Recreation. This position encompasses the management of accounts receivable, revenue tracking, invoicing, reconciliations, and the documentation of financial transactions. The specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and facilitating sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison for internal financial systems
  • Reconcile financial data and address any notable discrepancies
  • Organize and maintain financial documentation
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures regarding data compliance
  • Propose enhancements to existing processes
  • Prepare and issue invoices while following up on outstanding payments
  • Generate financial reports for revenue analysis
  • Supervise point of sale operations and cash management
  • Conduct monthly petty cash reconciliations
  • Perform additional duties as necessary

Educational Requirements

A minimum of a three-year Community College Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience Requirements

2-3 years of relevant professional experience is essential. Familiarity with accounting principles is considered advantageous.
