Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with various needs, including learning disabilities and autism, to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support tailored to the individual's needs, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the people we support, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of personalized care and support plans.
  • Participate in activities and outings that promote social interaction, leisure, and personal growth.
  • Manage medication, shopping, health needs, and hygiene, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Follow established procedures and protocols to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable care and support.

Person Specification

We are looking for an individual who possesses:

  • Good general education and a passion for making a positive difference in people's lives.
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a commitment to our organization's values and objectives.
  • A satisfactory Police Check and check against the ISA List (where applicable).
  • A commitment to ongoing training and development.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • RQF Level 2 or above in social care.
  • Previous experience in a social care setting.
  • Knowledge and commitment regarding Equal Opportunities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks.
  • Confident IT user.
