We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Intra-oral Dental Assistant to join our team at Dr. Karine Carpentier Dentistry Professional Corporation. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering top-notch services.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare patients for dental examinations by ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the procedure.
- Supply Management: Order dental and office supplies to maintain a well-stocked and efficient dental environment.
- Instrument Preparation: Prepare dental instruments and filling materials to ensure they are clean and ready for use.
- Reception and Clerical Duties: Perform reception and clerical tasks, including answering phones and responding to patient inquiries.
- Instrument Maintenance: Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to promote good oral health.
- X-ray Services: Take and develop X-rays to assist dentists in diagnosing and treating dental conditions.
- Procedure Documentation: Record dental procedures performed on patients to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Invoice Management: Invoice patients for dental services provided, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
- Certification: Registration with provincial or territorial authorities is required.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Work Term: Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
- Language: Bilingual (English and French) is required.
