The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the dining operations at our esteemed establishment. This position requires a commitment to excellence in service and food quality.

Employment Details

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.
Work Environment
  • Located in a hotel, resort, or fine dining venue.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Possess knowledge of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
  • Oversee the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules for staff.
  • Supervise team members and other personnel.
Supervisory Role

Responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 individuals, including food and beverage servers.

Transportation

Public transportation options are readily available.
