About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Big Smoke Burger. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective operational procedures to ensure the smooth running of our restaurant, including managing inventory, scheduling staff, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Lead and Motivate a Team

Supervise and train a team of staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and order inventory and supplies as needed to ensure that our restaurant is well-stocked and able to meet customer demand.

Monitor and Improve Quality

Ensure that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality and safety, and implement processes to continuously improve our quality control measures.

Maintain Accurate Records

Keep accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff performance to inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment.

Work Setting

Food service establishment.

Supervision

3-4 people.
