About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jimmy the Greek. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and train a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
    • Establish and maintain effective work schedules to meet the demands of our busy food service establishment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, meeting our quality control standards.
    • Monitor and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that customers receive their orders promptly and efficiently.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure that all orders are accurate and fulfilled.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and training.
    • Assist with the preparation of reports and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
