About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Big Smoke Burger. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports
    • Establish work schedules
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Work Setting
    • Food service establishment
