About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Mr. Pretzels. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Prepare and submit reports on customer feedback and suggestions.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
