Qualifications

Education: Candidates should possess a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Train team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive reports.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Possess knowledge of the culinary styles offered by the establishment.
  • Oversee the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
  • Supervise staff and collaborate with other officials.

The position involves supervising a team of 11-15 individuals, including food and beverage servers.
