About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Top Side Drywall (2018) Ltd. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners with precision and attention to detail.
  • Filling and Smoothing: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Corners and Angles: Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Sheet Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Securing Sheets: Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Layout Preparation: Prepare wall and ceiling layouts with precision and attention to detail.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding work environment.
  • Repetitive Tasks: Repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail and physical stamina.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall finishing.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
