About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at Top Side Drywall (2018) Ltd. as a key member of our installation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and finish drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even surface.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and provide a professional finish.
  • Fills joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet the required specifications.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists, ensuring a sturdy and secure installation.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts to ensure accurate and efficient installation.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • The candidate will be required to perform repetitive tasks and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall finishing and installation.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
