Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food service delivery.
- Train and supervise food service staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing food service team to meet the needs of our customers.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure accurate inventory management.
- Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays to ensure high-quality presentation.
- Develop and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1-2 years of experience in food service operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the restaurant as needed.
Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift.
