Position Overview

What is the opportunity?

Royal Bank of Canada is in search of a Wealth Advisory Associate to become a vital part of a well-established advisory group. In this role, you will enhance client relationships by providing insightful guidance and support to both clients and the advisory team. The primary focus will be on developing and executing the wealth management strategy tailored for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the advisory team and clients throughout the wealth management journey by collecting necessary information, documents, and assessments.
  • Create financial and wealth projections utilizing financial advisory tools to present a comprehensive overview of client aspirations, priorities, and potential.
  • Collaborate with wealth management and insurance experts, as well as in-branch consultants: organize, monitor progress, and follow up on tasks.
  • Engage with branch management for updates on wealth management initiatives and progress.
  • Organize meetings and events with clients and prospects: assist in setting agendas, identifying key topics, preparing necessary documentation, and completing follow-up tasks.
  • Deliver proactive and exceptional client service via phone and in-person interactions, addressing client inquiries effectively.
  • Spot opportunities for new business as well as among the existing client base for asset consolidation or referrals.

Qualifications Required

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the investment sector.
  • Registered Representative (RR) approval with CIRO (i.e., CSC, CPH, and WME).
  • Financial planner diploma from the Institute of Financial Planning.
  • Fluency in both French and English to cater to our diverse client base.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • A university degree.
  • Strong attention to detail along with excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
