About the Wealth Management Associate Program

This program is designed to equip you with the essential skills required for a successful career in private banking. Over a period of five months, you will gain valuable insights into credit underwriting and relationship management, essential for serving high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance client relationships through personalized service.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of Scotiabank's Wealth Management and Private Banking operations.
  • Participate in training sessions aimed at preparing you for a client-facing role.
  • Collaborate with experienced Private Bankers to learn best practices in financial advisory services.

Are You the Right Fit?

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Are pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree, or possess relevant work experience in client relationship management.
  • Have completed coursework that supports registration with the provincial securities commission for mutual fund licensing.
  • Are eager to build a career in personal banking and possess a sales-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to influence and persuade effectively.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Value constructive feedback and seek opportunities for personal growth.
