Position Overview

The Wealth Management and Retirement Advisory Group at Société Financière Manuvie provides comprehensive financial and investment strategies, including planning and insurance services, to a diverse clientele.

As a Wealth Management Associate, you will collaborate with a team of advisors to deliver tailored wealth and retirement guidance to our clients. You will be an integral part of our organization, offering advice across various channels including Group Retirement, Group Benefits, Insurance, and Banking.

Your role will involve assisting clients by offering insightful advice and financial planning aligned with their wealth and retirement aspirations. Through engaging discussions, you will help determine when to involve other specialists within the advisory team, ensuring clients receive the best possible solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and understand your clients' financial and life objectives.
  • Deliver investment and financial guidance, utilizing our extensive range of proprietary and third-party solutions.
  • Assist in acquiring and consolidating client assets while providing appropriate insurance options.
  • Facilitate connections between clients and relevant Manuvie professionals, including senior advisors, to enhance client value.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing their evolving needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Utilize digital financial planning tools to aid clients in crafting their financial strategies.
  • Exhibit strong client service capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Manuvie partners to enrich the customer experience.
  • Adhere to risk and compliance protocols to protect client assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
  • University degree and/or 1 to 2 years of relevant industry experience, including direct client interaction.
  • Bilingualism is preferred but not mandatory.
  • MFDA or IIROC license (IIROC preferred with completed Conduct & Practices Handbook).
  • Life License (LLQP) is required.
  • IQPF designation is preferred or must be obtained within the first two years of employment.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service and advisory experiences.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset; demonstrated coachability.
  • Positions available in key offices across the country.

The successful candidate will be expected to communicate effectively in both English and French to support our diverse client base.
