Role Summary

What is the opportunity?

Royal Bank of Canada is looking for a Wealth Management Associate to become part of a reputable advisory group. In this role, you will enhance client connections by providing insightful guidance and assistance to both clients and the advisory team. The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and execute the team's wealth management strategy tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the advisory team and clients throughout the wealth management journey by collecting pertinent information, documentation, and surveys
  • Create financial and wealth forecasts utilizing wealth management and financial advisory tools to present a comprehensive view of client objectives, priorities, and possibilities
  • Coordinate efforts with wealth management and insurance experts as well as in-branch consultants: manage scheduling, monitor progress, and follow up accordingly
  • Communicate with branch management for updates on wealth management initiatives and progress
  • Organize meetings and events with clients and prospects: assist in determining the agenda and key discussion points, prepare necessary documentation, and handle post-meeting tasks
  • Deliver proactive and exceptional client service both via phone and in-person, addressing client inquiries
  • Identify potential opportunities for new business as well as among the existing client base for asset consolidation or referrals

Qualifications for Success
Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the investment sector
  • Registered Representative (RR) approval with CIRO (i.e., CSC, CPH, and WME)
  • Financial planner diploma awarded by the Institute of Financial Planning
  • Fluency in both French and English to effectively serve our diverse clientele
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 applications
  • A university degree
  • Exceptional attention to detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
