Restaurant Operations Manager

About the Opportunity:
The Restaurant Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining cabin and restaurant on our cruise ships. This includes ensuring high-quality food and drinks, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining profitable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee all activities of the dining cabin and restaurant
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and protocols
- Manage front-line restaurant staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement programs to improve service and product quality
- Conduct daily stand-up briefings and communicate with staff on necessary information
- Maintain highest standards of safety and sanitation
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of restaurant supervision experience
- Prefer bachelor's degree with 1-2 years additional experience in hospitality or culinary field
- Smart Serve Certificate required
- Food Handler's Certificate required
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships
