Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Empire Diner is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that work schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure their success.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and they have a positive experience.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check and basic security clearance required.
