Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Empire Diner is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Operations: Prepare and submit reports, supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules.
  • Teamwork: Work under pressure, maintain a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Criminal record check and basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
