The Opportunity

The Quality, Innovation, Research and Training division is tasked with leading and supporting the execution of strategic initiatives within the Mental Health and Addictions framework. Reporting to the Manager of Quality, Innovation, Research and Training, the Strategic Planning Consultant will serve as an internal advisor, responsible for orchestrating and managing strategic planning efforts, as well as the design and execution of complex, high-stakes program change initiatives.

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday; 75 hours bi-weekly

Your Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Health Services Administration, Health Information Management, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering required.
  • A Master's degree in a related field is considered an asset.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in leading strategic and performance improvement projects is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is considered an asset.
  • Extensive knowledge of program and strategic planning methodologies.
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, relational database, visual management software, project management software, and simulation modeling software.
  • Demonstrated expertise in LEAN principles, project management, and change management.
  • In-depth understanding of system/process redesign methodologies.
  • Knowledge of evaluation design and methodology.
  • Experience in data management, analysis, and statistical evaluation.
  • Familiarity with Mental Health and Addictions frameworks and the broader health system.
  • Strong team-building and group process management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation abilities.
  • High level of initiative, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
