About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Showroom Manager to lead our Ottawa showroom expansion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the showroom, hiring and developing a team of sales professionals, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Hire, train, and lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Showroom Operations: Set up and manage the showroom, including creating lighting displays, setting up computers and point of sale systems, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Welcome showroom visitors, learn about their needs, and provide expert advice on lighting solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with customers to drive sales growth.
  • Marketing and Events: Participate in product knowledge sessions with vendors, organize showroom events, and contribute to marketing initiatives to promote the showroom and our products.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales or management in the design industry, with a strong background in lighting and lighting industry knowledge.
  • Education: Post-secondary degree or certificate in Interior Architecture/Design, Lighting Design, or Business Administration.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite applications.
