Legal Administrative Assistant Role

Join YWI Alliance as a Legal Administrative Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team. This is a permanent position with a commitment of 30 hours per week, primarily working in English.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and confirm appointments efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized filing system.
  • Document and prepare minutes for court sessions, meetings, or conferences.
  • Establish and implement office procedures and routines.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and manage related itineraries.
  • Draft and input correspondence and legal documents.
  • Review and edit documents to ensure adherence to legal standards and proper grammar.
Supervisory Responsibilities

You will oversee a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.

Technical Skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Windows.
Work Experience
  • Experience in handling Contracts, Correspondence, Invoices, and Reports.
Security Requirements
  • Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Manage a substantial caseload effectively.
