Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Telecommunications Line Technician to join our team at Prema Telecom Inc. This permanent position involves working in various environments, including outdoor settings and at heights, to ensure the proper installation and maintenance of telecommunications equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain both aerial and underground telephone systems.
  • Conduct tests to identify transmission faults.
  • Complete and maintain service and test reports.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to telecommunications.
  • Climb and work on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
  • Manage cable connections, disconnections, and relocations.
  • Determine and assign work tasks.
  • Install cable modems and software for Internet connectivity.
  • Repair or replace damaged cables, power supplies, and amplifiers.
  • Splice and connect wires effectively.
  • Fix or replace defective telephone equipment.
