About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team at M-TECH IT & TELECOM SERVICES LTD. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain telecommunications equipment, including cable modems, software, and other associated equipment.
  • Network Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment using computerized testing systems, and diagnose and locate equipment faults.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers, and install new equipment as needed.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service, including completing and maintaining test and service reports, and instructing apprentices as needed.
  • Area of Specialization: Telecommunications equipment, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment in various locations.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, team player, and accurate.
