Job Summary

M-TECH IT & TELECOM SERVICES LTD is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Repair and replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to minimize downtime
  • Install and configure cable modems and software to enable Internet access for customers
  • Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment
  • Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust or replace telecommunications equipment as needed
  • Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports
  • Work with apprentices to provide training and guidance
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in telecommunications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Physical ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as required
Work Environment

As a Telecommunications Technician with M-TECH IT & TELECOM SERVICES LTD, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of tasks and responsibilities. You will be required to work at various locations, including customer premises and our company facilities.
