Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Program Coordinator to support the Forensic Sexual Offender Program within the Forensic Regional Clinics. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the workflow of pre-sentence and court-ordered assessments, as well as creating and tracking documents and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize work with Regional Clinic Leads to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of assessments.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and well-formatted documents, reports, and statistical information to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with regional clinic staff and community housing partners to track housing client data and metrics.
  • Participate in committees and working groups related to court assessments, provincial forensic sex offender program, and housing initiatives.
  • Attend and coordinate meetings, in-services, and other events to facilitate communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Grade 12, graduation from a recognized secretarial program, and five years' recent experience in a related field, including one year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal with others effectively and physically able to carry out the duties of the position.
  • Commitment to developing knowledge and understanding of legislative obligations and provincial commitments related to Indigenous reconciliation.
