Job Summary

The Regional Director of Event Sales is a key member of our team, responsible for driving sales growth and leading a team of event planning professionals. This role requires a unique blend of sales and people management skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of event specialists to achieve individual and team goals
  • Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with HR and other team members to support hiring and training initiatives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging relationships and creative thinking to expand our business
  • Act as a liaison between event specialists and operating departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Monitor guest reactions and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and exceed guest satisfaction expectations
  • Contribute to the development of menus and promotional calendars, working closely with marketing and operations teams

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of event sales experience, with a proven track record of sales growth and team leadership
  • Advanced written and spoken French language skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on exceeding sales goals and delivering exceptional results
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to think critically in making business decisions
  • College or university graduate in a hospitality-related program
