Butcher - Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Indian Frootland and Tandoori Grill Meat Shop. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat
- Wrapping and packaging prepared meats
- Removing bones from meat
- Weighing meats for sale
- Cutting poultry into parts
- Cleaning and preparing fish and shellfish
- Selling meats to customers
- Cutting fish into steaks and fillets
- Supervising other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers
- Grinding meats
- Training meat cutters
- Preparing special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shaping, lacing, and tying roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood
- Preparing special orders
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail
