Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at NATH MEAT & CHICKEN CORNER INC. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat products for sale in our butcher shop and supermarket/grocery store.
Key Responsibilities- **Meat Cutting and Preparation**: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, and cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
- **Meat Packaging**: Wrap and package prepared meats for sale.
- **Meat Weighing**: Weigh meats for sale and ensure accurate pricing.
- **Customer Service**: Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines.
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers.
- **Education**: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- **Experience**: Will train.
- **Work Environment**: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
- **Physical Capabilities**: Hand-eye coordination and ability to lift heavy objects.
- **Personal Suitability**: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliable, and a team player.
- **Work Term**: Permanent.
- **Work Language**: English.
- **Hours**: 30 hours per week.
