We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at NATH MEAT & CHICKEN CORNER INC. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat products for sale in our butcher shop and supermarket/grocery store.
Key Responsibilities- **Cut and Prepare Meat Products**: Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters, and trim and prepare standard cuts of meat.
- **Clean and Package Meat**: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and wrap and package prepared meats.
- **Operate Equipment**: Operate band saws, manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines.
- **Supervise and Train**: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers, and train meat cutters.
- **Maintain Quality and Safety**: Maintain high standards of quality and safety in the preparation and handling of meat products.
- **Education**: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- **Experience**: Will train.
- **Language**: English.
- **Work Conditions**: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
- **Permanent Full-Time Position**: 30 hours per week.
