We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at NATH MEAT & CHICKEN CORNER INC. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat for sale in our butcher shop and supermarket.
Key Responsibilities:- Cut and trim meat to prepare for processing or cutting
- Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Weigh meats for sale
- Cut poultry into parts
- Price meat products
- Sell meats to customers
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets
- Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers
- Grind meats
- Train meat cutters
- Slice cooked meats
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail
- Hand-eye coordination
- Basic security clearance
- Butcher shop
- Supermarket and meat department
- Supermarket/grocery store
English
