Position Overview
Are you dedicated to making a difference in the healthcare field? We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technologist eager to leverage their expertise in a progressive and supportive environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our Laboratory team with your strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

In this role, you will work under the supervision of the Chief Medical Technologist, responsible for collecting and preparing specimens for standard analysis. You will conduct a variety of routine tests in Hematology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Immunohematology, adhering to established departmental protocols.

Work Schedule: Shifts may include Days and Evenings - 06:30 to 15:00, 07:00 to 13:30, 08:00 to 16:30, 08:30 to 17:00, 09:30 to 18:00, 07:30 to 16:00, 14:30 to 23:00, with a rotating schedule.

Qualifications Required

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program and current registration with the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science.

• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.

• Preferred experience in the aforementioned testing disciplines.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.

• Physical capability to perform the responsibilities of the role.

• Organizational skills to manage workload efficiently.

• Competence in operating laboratory equipment.
