Position Overview
Are you a dedicated professional with a strong commitment to supporting healthcare? We are seeking a Laboratory Technologist eager to showcase their expertise in a vibrant and progressive setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute your strong work ethic to our Laboratory division.
In this role, under the supervision of the Chief Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for acquiring and preparing specimens for standard analysis. You will conduct various routine tests in Hematology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Immunohematology, adhering to established departmental protocols.
Work Schedule: Shifts include Days and Evenings - 06:30 to 15:00, 07:00 to 13:30, 08:00 to 16:30, 08:30 to 17:00, 09:30 to 18:00, 07:30 to 16:00, 14:30 to 23:00, on a rotating basis.
Qualifications
• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program and current registration with the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science.
• A minimum of one (1) year of recent relevant experience.
• Preferred experience in all mentioned disciplines.
Skills and Competencies:
• Proficient in effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with others.
• Physical capability to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Organizational skills to manage workload efficiently.
• Competence in operating related laboratory equipment.
