Job Summary

Northern Health is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Regional Manager, Disability Management and Workplace Health. This position requires a strong leader with experience in managing complex health and safety initiatives, as well as a deep understanding of employee well-being and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to promote employee health and safety, and minimize the risk of occupational illness and injury.
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies, programs, and services to support employee well-being and safety.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including management, staff, unions, government agencies, and external partners.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of health and safety professionals, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in employee health and safety.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role, with a strong background in health and safety management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful health and safety initiatives, and driving organizational change and improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
