Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As the architect of our digital backbone, you will design and maintain resilient systems that power our innovative solutions. This is a full-time role position that offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Infrastructure Operations: Ensure the smooth and continuous operation of our website, including database management, optimization, performance, and data integrity.
  • Implement Security Measures: Develop and maintain robust security measures to protect data and systems, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Monitor and Maintain Infrastructure: Continuously improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance, ensuring seamless operations and high-performance systems.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Foster a collaborative environment, ensuring seamless communication and working closely with team members to deliver high-performance, reliable systems that meet organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
  • Expertise in Server Infrastructure: Experience in Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Security Expertise: A deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL: Fluency and expertise in optimizing and understanding the intricate details and underlying layers of PostgreSQL.
  • Fluency in TypeScript: Fluent in working with TypeScript.
  • Code Quality: Strong focus and interest in building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with Pulumi is preferred.
  • Bonus Skills: Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
