Job Description

Application Delivery Lead (Logistics)

We are seeking an experienced Application Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of strategic projects within our Logistics division. This role demands a strong understanding of software development lifecycles, project management methodologies, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership of all aspects of assigned projects, including client communication, governance, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and roadblocks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • 20+ years of experience in software development environments, with a focus on logistics applications.
  • 10+ years of hands-on leadership experience, successfully delivering complex projects using both legacy and modern technologies (Mainframes, Microservices, Cloud, DevOps).
  • Proven ability to lead and manage large teams of onshore and offshore resources.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
