Job Title: Business Development Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at McKesson's Corporate. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and growing our independent retail pharmacy customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Wholesale Offerings: Develop and execute territory plans to meet sales forecasts and drive market share.
  • Qualify Leads: Collaborate with finance and sales support for account setup and ensure adherence to sales processes.
  • Develop Business and Customer Loyalty: Promote wholesale offerings and programs to develop business and customer loyalty.
  • Assess Territory Performance: Analyze and monitor sales data to identify trends and optimize strategies.
  • Document and Communicate Market and Customer Trends: Document and communicate market and customer trends to the Field Sales director.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador: Act as a brand ambassador and uphold corporate values.
  • Attend Regional Trade Shows: Attend regional trade shows as needed.
  • Conduct Regular Store Visits: Conduct regular store visits to gather market intelligence.
  • Use CRM Tools: Use CRM tools to track activities and manage customer interactions.
  • Participate in Training and Professional Development: Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years of Field Sales Experience: Proven experience in field sales with a strong track record of success.
  • University Degree: University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Science, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the Retail Pharmacy Landscape: Understanding of the retail pharmacy landscape is an asset.
  • Proven Relationship-Building Skills: Proven relationship-building skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Power BI: Knowledge of Salesforce and Power BI.
  • Strong English Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to Balance Corporate Responsibilities: Ability to balance corporate responsibilities with field sales activities.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
