Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Help Desk Specialist to join our team at BFG Enterprise Services. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our clients, ensuring their technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial Support: Provide initial support for computer hardware, software, and telecommunications issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve PC, hardware, and software issues over the phone, utilizing your technical expertise to provide solutions.
  • Help Desk Management: Manage help desk tickets, documenting all steps taken towards resolution, and tracking service calls from start to finish.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Possess PC troubleshooting knowledge for hardware and software, as well as mobile support knowledge for hardware and software.
  • Certifications: A+, CCNA, and CompTia certifications are highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Education: A college diploma or university degree in Information Technology is preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a service-based industry, with a strong background in technical support.
  • Skills: Strong customer service attitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in tight timelines.

Physical Requirements:

  • Computer Use: Ability to use computer screens for extended periods.
  • Communication: Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to remain in a stationary position and move around the office as needed, with no heavy lifting expected.
